What is gematria numbers

Gematria is a system of assigning numeric values to words, letters, and phrases. This ancient system has been in use since the time of the Greeks and can be found in texts from many different religions and cultures.

Gematria is based on the fact that certain numbers represent fundamental concepts. A numerical value is assigned to each letter in an alphabet. In Jewish gematria, the numbers range from 1-400 (for Hebrew) or 1-800 (for Aramaic). For example, in Hebrew gematria "A" = 1, "B" = 2, "C" = 3, etc… The sum of values for each word is then calculated by adding together all of the letters that make up that particular word or phrase.
